PUAFER006 Lead an Emergency Control Organisation

This unit provides additional knowledge and practice for participants including leadership, use of fire panels and EWIS systems, legislation and planning for evacuation exercises. Participants will develop skills to ascertain the extent of onsite workplace emergencies and supervise evacuation of the workplace.

Particular attention will be placed on meeting the requirements of Australian Standard 3745–2010: Planning for emergencies in facilities and how it applies to all workplaces. Participants will have an understanding of emergency procedures and will undergo extensive practical drills on controlling workplace emergencies.

Upon completion each participant will receive a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment.

Reconciliation Action Plan

At Skills Force Australia, we acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we work and live. In addition we will respect Indigenous Elders past and present.

Our vision for reconciliation

Our vision for reconciliation is shared with many other Australian small businesses to celebrate the knowledge and cultures of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. This will be achieved through the social, economic and cultural inclusion of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in our training programs.

Our family business is committed to sustainable Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander qualifications and sustainable, meaningful assistance for employment through quality training
