The HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) course equips you with essential skills and knowledge to effectively respond in life-threatening situations. Designed in alignment with the latest Australian Resuscitation Council Guidelines, this course focuses on maintaining breathing and circulation in adults, children, and infants experiencing cardiac arrest. Through a blend of theoretical and practical training, participants will gain confidence in delivering CPR and using an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) to increase the chances of survival.

This nationally accredited combination course will provide participants with the required skills and knowledge to manage a casualty involved in an incident relating to a live LV panel using a supplied Low Voltage rescue kit. During an emergency, in which the casualty requires urgent CPR, you will have the lifesaving skills to manage the situation until emergency services and Paramedics arrive. The application of skills and knowledge described in this unit may require a licence/registration to practice in the workplace subject to regulations for undertaking of electrical work.

This is our nationally accredited Fire Warden Training course based on the Australian Standard (Planning for Emergencies in Facilities) and is specifically designed to develop and maintain key skills for your fire wardens who will be required to safely evacuate people in your workplace. Our trainer will generally check your existing evacuation plan and system prior to training so that there is a better fit between our training and your organisation.

This unit provides additional knowledge and practice for participants including leadership, use of fire panels and EWIS systems, legislation and planning for evacuation exercises. Participants will develop skills to ascertain the extent of onsite workplace emergencies and supervise evacuation of the workplace.
Particular attention will be placed on meeting the requirements of Australian Standard 3745–2010: Planning for emergencies in facilities and how it applies to all workplaces. Participants will have an understanding of emergency procedures and will undergo extensive practical drills on controlling workplace emergencies.
Upon completion each participant will receive a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment.
