UETDRMP018 Perform Rescue from a Live LV Panel (LVR) with Prerequisite HLTAID009 Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)

This nationally accredited combination course provides participants with the knowledge and practical skills required to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and safely perform a rescue from a live low voltage (LV) panel.

The course combines HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) with UETDRMP018 Perform Rescue from a Live Low Voltage Panel (LVR), providing essential emergency response skills for people working in or around electrical environments.

Participants will learn how to recognise and respond to an emergency, perform CPR in accordance with current Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) guidelines, assess hazards associated with a live low voltage electrical incident, and follow appropriate isolation and rescue procedures.

The practical component provides participants with the opportunity to demonstrate CPR and low voltage rescue techniques using appropriate rescue equipment and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Training also covers casualty assessment, safe approaches to rescue, communication, emergency response procedures and the management of injuries that may occur during an electrical incident.

This course is particularly suitable for electricians, electrical workers and other personnel who may be required to respond to an electrical emergency in the workplace.

Upon successful completion of the required theory and practical assessments, participants will receive a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment.

This is our nationally accredited Fire Warden Training course based on the Australian Standard (Planning for Emergencies in Facilities) and is specifically designed to develop and maintain key skills for your fire wardens who will be required to safely evacuate people in your workplace. Our trainer will generally check your existing evacuation plan and system prior to training so that there is a better fit between our training and your organisation.

PUAFER006 Lead an Emergency Control Organisation

Price: $209.00

This unit provides additional knowledge and practice for participants including leadership, use of fire panels and EWIS systems, legislation and planning for evacuation exercises. Participants will develop skills to ascertain the extent of onsite workplace emergencies and supervise evacuation of the workplace.

Particular attention will be placed on meeting the requirements of Australian Standard 3745–2010: Planning for emergencies in facilities and how it applies to all workplaces. Participants will have an understanding of emergency procedures and will undergo extensive practical drills on controlling workplace emergencies.

Upon completion each participant will receive a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment.
